Our Vision from the Heart

The Way Station is a safe haven where God's people can find rest and wholeness in the Firm Hands of the Lord. We believe in the power of second chances and the strength found in being restored to God's original plan.

On our campus, "disciples" (those in residence) gain a strong root system to withstand the storms of life. We focus on elevating those who need it most: newly released prisoners, the homeless, former addicts, and struggling veterans.

Our goal is simple: that every graduate leaves with a Kingdom mindset, ready to become a productive part of society and a beacon of hope for their own families and communities.

FOUNDER - PRESIDENT

Herb Ross

After overcoming 20 years of addiction and crime, and 3 years of homelessness, Herb received a vision from God to bring men into the fold and introduce them to their true destiny in Christ Jesus.

COFOUNDER - VICE PRESIDENT

Bethanne Ross

Serving the Lord for over 10 years, Bethanne brings a passion for mission work and community service to her role as Vice President, serving alongside her husband and seven children.

Ralph Minster

With 30+ years in the Assembly of God, Ralph served as a Chaplain for the DOJ. He now leads The Dwelling Place in Lake City, FL, with deep compassion and wisdom.

Margaret Minster

A seasoned Bible teacher and speaker, Margaret is dedicated to prison ministry and reentry support, leading with grace alongside her husband, Ralph.

Kelly McKnight, PhD

A Marine and Vietnam veteran with a doctorate in psychology, Dr. Kelly has a heart for those who have served and those who feel it's too late to start over.

Chastity McKnight

An accomplished vocalist and songwriter, Chastity uses music therapy and worship to bring healing to the brokenhearted, with over 25 years of service.
